Creating happiness in the East Bay, one home at a time...welcome to Berkeley, Oakland, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito, and Alameda.

What’s my story?

WORK LIFE ETHOS

My approach to real estate is a potent combination of high-touch service, hard work, uncompromising presentation, and a passion for finding a home that’s right for you.

While a devoted, accomplished agent ranking in the top tier of agents in the East Bay, I also have multiple eclectic interests. A fondness for Italian language and culture and a taste for adventure propelled me to Italy between careers, where I received a scholarship to study intensive Italian in Genova. I remain a lifelong student of the language today. My explorer instincts also took me to Amsterdam just after college. I spent a year living and cultivating Dutch design while working the graveyard shift at the best photography lab in Europe—where I honed my interest in image-making.

I am passionate about the performing and visual arts, supporting many of the Bay Area’s ballet companies and museums, and hosting music concerts, cooking events, and photo shoots in my home. Active in Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito, and Alameda communities, my current home is a 1940s brick warehouse on the Oakland-Emeryville border, converted from an industrial machine shop to a polished residence. The transformation and renovation received a Creative Re-Use award from Metropolitan Home magazine.

EXPERIENCE

For over twelve years, I’ve been helping people buy and sell homes. But it’s also my background in brand and marketing communications that proves to be a valuable asset for my clients.

My thorough understanding of the local real estate market, as well as a deep sense of what it takes to champion my client’s needs and help them reach their goals, has propelled my success to the top 5% of East Bay agents.

Before real estate, I enjoyed a thriving career in design, art direction and brand marketing. This experience comes into play to capture my clients' key objectives, develop a meticulously planned listing campaign, and help buyers shine in offer presentations. My professional background, combined with more than a decade of real estate practice and impeccable relationships within the industry, all come together as a distinct advantage that has contributed to countless successful outcomes for clients.

In 2012, I helped my buyers succeed in purchasing the most significant and valuable listing in Berkeley that year -- a stunning, landmark Victorian estate that was pursued by buyers from around the state. That same year I received the Rookie of the Year award at The Grubb Company, and the Platinum Circle Award several years running.

Since moving to the Bay Area from Seattle in 1988, I have witnessed a cultural evolution in the East Bay, from a place that people once shied away from, to a blooming, bustling, creative place where everyone wants to be. I relish this renaissance, and the thought of people enjoying strolls through their neighborhoods, admiring their neighbors’ shiny front doors and crisp picket fences, and contributing to a place that has become a true destination.

Maybe I’ll see you there.  :)
